An isolated resident with diabetes is unable to afford food after her car broke down

Uninsured resident on a disability pension experienced damage to home in the Feb storm, has continued to face financial hardship and now her car is broken, leaving her completely isolated in a regional area without a mechanic or public transportation. She is saving money to get her car fixed by not buying food and trying to just live off tins in her pantry, which is not good for her diabetes. She can walk into town to an IGA. IGA vouchers will help her afford fresh food while she saves for a car repair so she is no longer isolated.
