A 17 year old young person, who has been in Out of Home care from birth, is needing a new phone to be able to stay in contact with his family, and his case management support team following a placement change. He is completing work experience to gain himself employment, and as a young adult making his own pathway in life, it is essential he has a phone to complete day to day tasks and be able to contact people in his life.
This is also part of safety planning for this young person, to keep himself safe, he needs to be able to contact his care team when out of the home.
