Single mother who found herself and her child homeless after coming to Australia to escape domestic violence. Was relying on church members to temp house her and living in a friend's vehicle when she was housed in Emergency housing.
Has started work and is trying to provide for her child living with her who is 4 years old and her other children back in her original country.
She works casual shift work and is constantly struggles financially with her obligations for her family and trying to save for a vehicle of her own.
Having a slow cooker will assist her to have a meal on the table when she gets home.
