Elderly person is living alone and trying to maintain repairs to home after storm damage experienced from the February 2024 storm.
Relying only on the Aged Pension while attempting to arrange repairs to roof, windows, door and arial as well as paying for the usual bills and groceries is proving very stressful.
Watching television was a pleasant distraction until the arial finally fell sideways on the roof after initial damage was sustained from the storm and recently completely stopped allowing television reception. Consumer eventually paid for a replacement arial and now is experiencing significant financial hardship and remaining on top of bills and groceries is proving very difficult.
