Mum involved in serious car accident with 2 children, suffered broken pelvis, dad not working to care for children

One of our Kindy children, her mum and baby brother were involved in a rather bad car accident last week in Oakford WA (you may have heard about it on the news). The little girl spent a few days in hospital, as did her little brother and thankfully neither were seriously injured. Their mum however was in hospital for almost a week and has suffered a fractured pelvis and is unable to get around much. Mum also has some history with mental ill-health and the current situation has set her back mentally as well as physically.
The family is struggling with getting meals on the table as the partner has had to stop working to look after mum and the three kids. They have very little family support close by.
