Domestic & Family Violence
Client has been experiencing family violence from her partner. She has custody of her 5 children and is unable to provide financially for them as she faces multiple health challenges hindering possibility of consistent employment. Client is a new arrival in Australia and faces isolation from support, has limited social networks and limited English skills. With these barriers, she is unable to gain employment, is reliant on the abusive partner for financial support for her children and herself which enables the abuse.
