74-Year-Old man struggling financially. Storm damage depleted funds. Unable to afford food.

Resident is a 74yr old, retired man living alone in his home which was damaged by the storm event. The resultant power outage and food spoilage has impacted him significantly. His pension funds were depleted and there is repair work remaining. He is experiencing difficulty financing daily living expenses, fuel, utilities, and his mortgage payment. . Recent car registration and drivers licence renewal have left him without the financial means to purchase food. Food vouchers are an urgent need. Fuel vouchers would allow him to travel outside of Cockatoo to access services such as financial counselling, Resident has a back condition and irregular heartbeat. He has undergone blood tests to determine the cause of debilitating night sweats but there is no diagnosis. Injuries and arthritis have left him with limited use of his hands so that repair work and maintenance are now an additional cost.
