We are an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation with over 20 years' experience supporting Aboriginal women and their children who have, or are currently experiencing family violence.
As part of our support services, we have something called ''Koori Women's Place'' located at our Abbotsford office. KWP is a free, drop-in service where Aboriginal women can come and get anything they need, including food, clothes, legal advice, application support for things such as housing and even just get a cup of tea. It has been designed as a safe space for Aboriginal women and their children.
We rely heavily on community donations to keep this service going, and at the moment we are desperately in need of more toiletry products. These include toothpaste, toothbrushes, body wash, soap etc. We would be eternally grateful if we we were able to get a donation of these goods to our KWP.
Anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated.
