Recipient story

Sensory Supports for Children in Remote Communities
First Nations Support
We’re seeking your support to provide six (6) sensory chewelery options for Aboriginal children in remote communities. For children with high sensory needs, heavy work (proprioceptive) input can be extremely calming and regulating. Chewing can help provide this sensory support. When children require lots of sensory input, it can be hard to attend school or take part in learning activities.

Chewelry is a simple, life-changing, and cost effective tool that supports learning and helps children access the sensory input they need. This then helps them to feel calm, supported for learning and included in the classroom more often. Your donation will provide these essential supports directly to those who need them most, empowering children to learn, belong, and thrive.
