The mother of two was forced to flee her community and country to protect herself and her children. The family is now residing in a DFV refuge. Both children require significant pediatric support. Without access to a car, they are working to establish a new routine while also recovering from severe financial hardship and the loss of community support following the violence. The mother of 2 would love to take the children (ages 3 and 4) to Australia Zoo during the Christmas holidays. This would be a very special surprise for a family who is currently missing community and connection.
