Young Person is currently navigating complex housing stressors due to ongoing instability following the passing of their father. As they approach turning 18 years-of-age, our service is hoping to provide them additional assistance towards their basic health & wellbeing needs.
YP is currently living within a shared accommodation where fellow tenants unexpectedly moved out, taking all the communal furniture with them. This has resulted in significant challenges in restocking basic items including cutlery/kitchen items, dining table, chairs, couches, etc. YP is currently handwashing all clothes and is unable to access a laundromat due to their semi-rural living location.
As Christmas approaches and YP beings to transition out of community-based programs, we are hoping to provide them with basic essentials (care package) including toiletries to avoid any future hardship she may experience.
YP would be extremely grateful for any community support.
