A 29-year-old Indigenous mother is preparing to welcome her second child, a baby girl due in late November. Despite her determination and strength, she is currently experiencing homelessness due to the ongoing housing crisis. She dreams of creating a safe, stable home where she can nurture her children and rebuild her life. Engaged with multiple support services, she continues to show courage, warmth, and hope through every challenge. With limited finances managed through the public trustee, she faces daily barriers to securing housing. Her goal is to find a place to call home so she can focus on caring for her newborn and eventually return to work to provide for her family’s future.
