We are seeking support for a single mother of four who is managing PTSD from past domestic violence while raising her children on her own. She is committed to her healing journey and travels over an hour to attend counselling sessions through a women’s centre. One of her children also attends regular counselling to support his wellbeing, which requires reliable transport. Covering fuel costs places added pressure on her already limited budget, making it difficult to keep these essential appointments. Two of her children are also experiencing undiagnosed behavioural difficulties, and she is saving to access private assessments as the public waitlists are long. Despite these challenges, she continues to put her children’s needs first and works hard to create stability for them. Your donation will directly support this family to access the counselling that is so important to their recovery and wellbeing, while also offering them encouragement and hope.
