Single mum impacted by February storm event, in financial stress and looking for food and clothing vouchers

A mother's house was seriously damaged and flooded in the February 2024 Storms leaving her with mouldy clothes and damaged electricals. Mother has been struggling to recover financially as most of her money has gone towards repairing the house, replacing some of the damaged electricals and the spoiled food that was thrown out due to power outage. Her son was left traumatised and have developed anxiety. Mother still has ongoing financial concerns due to unemployment and her role as the sole giver of her son who needs ongoing supports. Food and clothing vouchers will go a long way in helping mother sustain her family and help her son recover.
