LW is a resilient mother of a 2-year-old child, rebuilding her life after leaving a relationship where she experienced financial and emotional abuse. In September 2024, she made the decision to separate from her ex-partner to ensure her child's safety and well-being. Since then, LW has also been navigating the impacts of her ex-partner's substance use and mental health challenges.
Initially, LW and her child moved in with her parents. Now, she has secured a safe and stable home for herself and her child and has recently started part-time work. While she is making positive strides, she continues to face financial hardship as she works to create a nurturing and secure environment for her child.
