Help a resilient mother give her children a joyful Christmas
I am working with a single mother of two through the Tenancy Support Program. She has endured prolonged homelessness, mental health struggles from past trauma, and isolation due to language barriers, yet has shown remarkable resilience. She cares for her young children, attends English classes with the aim of securing employment to build a stable future for her family. After a long wait for housing, she is now living in her own home and managing bills independently but rising living costs mean she often struggles to afford groceries. She feels heartbroken that she cannot provide enough food or Christmas presents for her children, whom she dearly loves. The holiday season has made these challenges heavier, leaving her worried her children will miss out on joy and comfort like other families. I am appealing to your kindness this Christmas season. Your generosity in providing groceries and gifts will ease their burden, bring hope, and remind them they are supported by a caring community.
