Request for Essential Household Furniture and Television to create a Safe, Stable, and Nurturing Environment

The client is a single mother working to stabilise her tenancy and create a safe and comfortable home environment for her young child. At present, the property is sparsely furnished, with very limited essential items. During a recent support visit, it was noted that the client did not have a proper bed to sleep on and had been relying on temporary arrangements. A blow-up mattress and bedding were provided to meet immediate needs, but this remains a short-term solution.
The child also has very limited belongings in the home. There is no appropriate furniture for the child’s bedroom, and the family currently has no functioning television. The lack of a TV means the child misses out on age-appropriate entertainment and educational content, which can provide structure and comfort in their daily routine. Having a TV and basic furnishings would help create a sense of normality, reduce stress, and encourage the family to spend time together safely at home.
