This woman is a well-respected, Aboriginal elder in the south Brisbane community and has recently disengaged from community due to her declining health and mental wellbeing. As someone who grew up as part of the 'Forgotten Australians' and only recently discovered her eligibility for the REDRESS scheme, we are trying to assist in setting up support for her and her close-knit mob.
With this woman's public housing tenancy currently at risk, we are seeking your support to help give back to a well-respected elder in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, who has dedicated her life to helping others.
