My client is a single mother from a CALD background with 4 school aged children. She has suffered parental alienation from one of her children due to coercive behaviours from children's father. She is actively engaging in supports to better the lives of herself and children. The family is very close and supportive of each other.

My client has experienced ongoing DV and coercive control while in the relationship with childrens father. She has left the relationship and is working to rebuild her life, self esteem and self worth not just as a mother but as a capable woman. There have been recent court dealings regarding the custody of the children and they are in the care of their mother. The oldest child has recently also returned home and is still somewhat being coerced by father, who chooses not to see his 3 younger children as will not see them due to court ordered supervised contact visits. This is also very confusing for the children.
