My client is a sole parent and has 5 children ranging from 4 to 16. Working part time and raising a family with the current cost of living can be a challenge. At this stage my client is trying to pay off rental arrears and overdue bills and keep herself afloat with all other household expenses. My client is concerned that Christmas day will be very bleak as the cost of presents and extra food for celebration is just not in the budget this year. She is also concerned on meeting the costs for school fees and uniforms next year as she has fallen behind in the fees for this year which need to be addressed. The school holidays are always an expensive time as children are home and needing more attention to edge of the boredom and constantly in the cupboard which makes it even more stressful. I am hoping to find some support for my client to help ease the pressure for Christmas and to help with school needs for 2026.
