My client is an aged couple nearing retirement. Low income household. Insurance has rejected their claim for water damage and ceiling collapse. Minimal funds available to repair the damage and they are really struggling financially to pay the bills and have food on the table while still attempting to repair the roof. Basic needs are not being met here and we ask for help with Food, Fuel and Kmart voucher to replace some personal items damaged in the storm.
