Supporting a Fresh Start: A Fridge for a Young Person and His Mother

This young person has been living in Australia for the past five years after relocating from Papua New Guinea with his mother to escape domestic violence. They made the difficult decision to leave their home country in search of safety, stability, and a chance to rebuild their lives.
While living in shared accommodation, both mother and son experienced further trauma when they were attacked and forcibly removed from their home by another tenant living upstairs. As a result, they were left homeless and have been without stable accommodation for the past four weeks.
After an incredibly challenging period, they have recently been successful in securing a rental property and are now preparing to move into their new home. This marks an important step toward stability and recovery.
However, they currently have no essential household items, including a refrigerator. We are kindly requesting support through the donation of a fridge to help them. Thank you!
