Single mother to two children 5 years and 10 months.
Mother has engaged with crisis services to navigate her and the children's experiences of Family Violence, perpetrated by the father of the children. Mother continued to navigate this due to father's expectations of having contact with the eldest child.
Financial control was prevalent during the relationship, and now the mother is working with services to obtain correct financial support and income to continue keeping the children safe.
Mother reported that cultural and spiritual abuse was also present, due to being "married" under Islamic Culture without her consent.
