Grocery Voucher - $20

This young mum is under immense strain. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in January this year and has had a lumpectomy. Treatment involved chemotherapy and radiation in which she has suffered severe burns from, which has affected her emotionally and physically. Mum is a single mum with two young children juggling everything on her own with no family or friend support. Mum is doing everything that she can to care for her children however, the demands of everyday life are overwhelming.

When her washing machine broke, it created an extra challenge for mum who was already stretched to her limits. Having young children means that their needs of having clean clothes and bedding are essential. Grocery vouchers would provide much needed support, helping ease the pressure and ensure the family has food and essentials while they focus on her son’s health and wellbeing. This would help ease some of the stress she is under and mum would be able to be more focused on treatment and recovery.
