The client, a grandmother in her late 60s, has become the primary caregiver for her two grandchildren, each with unique challenges. One grandchild, an energetic 8-year-old boy, struggles with reading, writing, following instructions, and sitting still, which often leads to behavioural difficulties at school and home.
She works tirelessly to advocate for them, seeking support to ensure that they receive the educational and emotional assistance they need. Additional resources will help the boys remain engaged, supported, and safe at home, while assisting the client in providing a stable and nurturing environment.
Having some new play equipment for Christmas would bring them joy as the kids will be able to play together outside.
