Our Neighbourhood Centre supports a broad range of community, from families and the elderly to rough sleepers and new arrival refugee families. We provide free community meals 3 days a week from our hub, as well as access to frozen meals, food parcels and our low-cost community pantry. These are unfunded services in which we rely on volunteers and rescued food to support our community.
Also from our Centre we have a Disaster recovery program, Women's domestic violence support service, child and family service and community support service.
Each year we host a pre-Christmas Christmas lunch bringing community together to connect and celebrate the festive season and our beautiful diverse community. For some this is their main celebration.
Seeking support to purchase special food items to help make Community Christmas Lunch a little brighter for our community. Also seeking support with grocery vouchers to support families doing it tough with Christmas hampers.
