In a quiet street of Perth, this elderly gentleman proceeds with the routines of his daily life, attending multiple medical appointments, supporting his extended family, and quietly tending to his front garden.
What is not visible is the daily grief he struggles with due to the recent and un-expected passing of his eldest daughter. As he resides in Perth for medical treatment, he is isolated from his family and systems of emotional support. Further, he has recently experienced an assault in his home where his mobile phone was stolen. He now must rely on extended family members receiving calls for him and driving around to his house to relay messages. This has been an unreliable arrangement and has resulted in missed messages and missed appointments with various support and health services. We are seeking the kindness of others to help him reconnect with the world and acquire a mobile phone. To reconnect with his children, grandchildren and health services to provide quality of life
