Single male achieved long term accommodation following homelessness and suffering significant mental health and bereavement
GIVIT
59 yr male had experienced primary homelessness for a long time prior to entering the men's hostel and receiving support to assist with long term accommodation. Male suffered health concerns due to sleeping rough and has cognitive impairment and learning disabilities which were challenging while sleeping rough. Male now has a unit to call his own however does not have the funds available to purchase a TV, so is very bored and is often found at the hostel offering to do gardening and wash cars to assist staff who helped him get his own place. Male has no family or friends for support.
