Our client is currently homeless in Australia following being injured in an accident. She has ongoing physical and mental harm, which mean she cannot work, and has limited social supports in Australia. She no longer has access to funds from her home country and so does not have money to spend on accommodation or food. Our client has recently been turned away from health facilities due to not having Medicare status.
