A 50-year-old woman who is struggling with a serious, chronic illness, which saw her in ICU for three weeks just in the last few months. She is homeless, is missing her children as they are in another town due to her having to move to be close to medical facilities. She has no supports where she is living, and cannot find work due to her health concerns. She is currently staying in the city and uses scooters to get around, as she is not able to walk very far and her car was stolen this year. She is delightful and engaging and always hopeful, even though she has been through so much.
