Older Aboriginal woman is living with PTSD due to family violence inflicted by a granddaughter (verbal abuse and physical abuse). Perpetrator has been ousted. Survivor's home - windows and doors smashed. Limited resources and financial hardship. Uses a mobility walker and living with chronic health conditions. Unable to access any DV grants/payments. On income support (Govt). Would like assistance for food (grocery vouchers), fuel vouchers and assistance for accommodation for connection to country and assist with cultural healing.

I am writing to personally thank 'GIVIT' for a generous 'Simply Groceries eGift card' voucher that I was gifted, with $100 worth of essential spending money for my family & I to utilise at our own discretion. I can happily report this donation has assisted the purchase of a basic, solo, wifi security camera, with the excess going toward food for my teenage daughter who is currently taken on responsibilities around our home while I recover in a rehabilitation centre. Thank you for this kind gesture, as it has helped to improve security measures around our home & support my daughter to purchase daily essential items such as groceries, basic hygiene & cleaning products.
