A single mother displaced from her primary residence due to the catastrophic floods of 2022 that significantly affected the Northern Rivers region, urgently seeking assistance to finish off works on a tiny home determined to carve out a space they can call their own, mum has devoted every cent of her savings to a builder, investing in the creation of her tiny home a sanctuary of dreams and resilience.
Prior to floods they were in a DV Supported rental - so whilst she received flood related commonwealth and state govt hardship payments, she was not entitled to the return to home/ repair /buyback schemes and not being a home owner then means she cannot apply now.
