Lost majority of farming business due to fire, land was decimated and buildings lost. Was very underinsured.
Had to sell remaining stock because of the drought as there is no feed and water and no $ to purchase any, in additional debt due to planting crop to try and regenerate soil from fire.
Overwhelmed financially due to all the additional costs and no income due to fire and drought plus trying to rebuild farming business. Due to the drought the dam needs structural work costing more $.
Client has MH challenges PTSD and anxiety; partner is accessing MH support due to the fire trauma.
Client is also caring for an immediate family member with cancer in Melbourne (stage 4) leading to additional $ cost in petrol (400km round trip a few times a week) significantly impacting on the entire households MH and resilience.
Applying to GIVIT for grocery and petrol vouchers to assist with overall financial issues.
