Seeking support for an elderly CALD woman recently housed after prolonged homelessness, facing financial hardship
GIVIT
We are seeking support for an elderly woman, aged in her late 60s, who has recently moved into her first secure tenancy after experiencing homelessness for over 6months and sleeping in hotels, couch surfing and even residing in her car at times. She is a member of a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) community and is currently facing significant financial hardship.
Her new home is a one-bedroom unit and is extremely under-resourced. At present, she only has a fridge, a bed, and a camping chair. She requires assistance to furnish her home and access essential white goods and household items to create a safe and comfortable living environment.
Financial support or vouchers to purchase all household items items if in-kind donations are not available
