The client is a single mother raising one child. English is her second language, which at times presents a barrier to accessing support and education. She recently left an abusive relationship that lasted eight years, but sadly continues to experience ongoing Family Domestic Violence from this relationship.
Determined to rebuild her life and achieve financial independence, she is currently studying an aged care course. However, she does not have access to a laptop and cannot afford to purchase one. A laptop would be a vital tool to support her studies and help her build a more stable future for both herself and her child.
Her experience of domestic violence has significantly impacted her mental health, resulting in depression, anxiety, and symptoms of PTSD. A laptop would not only assist her education but also contribute to her overall wellbeing and recovery journey.
