Client is a 15yr old female, who has been a victim of family violence. Father tried to commit suicide in the last two years. Family was affected by the 2019/2020 bushfires as well covid (business related). Client lives with mother and two younger siblings. Mother is currently seeking support for mental health. Client has severe mental health issues, sees a psychiatrist and has previously been linked in with a psychologist. On a range of medications for mental health. Client also has health issues relating to her being bedridden for a few days of the month. Client hasn’t been able to engage fully at school since her father’s incident due to her mental health but has started to re-engage as she would like to complete VCE and attended uni. Client requires a new laptop as her current laptop has stopped working and is having to share mums. Mum is unable to afford one that client requires to have certain programs on for her VCE subjects.
