Single mother of two year old is experiencing domestic and family violence. She and her daughter have physically escaped, but she is currently caring for her child alone on less than $400 a fortnight. The ex does not contribute to child support. The mother is living with disability, experiencing poor mental health, and is isolated with very little support.
As Christmas approaches, she is unable to meet essential needs and is deeply concerned about providing even a modest celebration for her child. This period is heightening her financial stress and emotional vulnerability.
Any assistance will directly support this family’s safety, wellbeing, and stability during a particularly challenging time.
