We are working with a lady who has battled with mental health most of her life. She has a significant history of horrendous trauma and abuse, paving the way for her to lean on alcohol and drugs for relief.
Her addiction had impacted her living standards, including squalor and allowing others to squat in her home and take advantage of her.
We have provided a safe place for her to live while she overcame her addictions, worked on her mental health and sought a safer living environment. Her courage and determination is admirable.
After many months of watching her bravery in standing up for herself and working with her challenges we are proud to see her being offered a beautiful, clean unit in a very safe location. She remains supported with wonderful agency to ensure her well being and is not left in a vulnerable position again.
Our community member is in need of household goods to support her house to become her long term home.
