Client is a single parent who lost her husband at a very young age and currently resides in public housing with her daughter and grandchildren.
Client has always worked hard to provide for her family, most recently as a part-time employee at a nursing home. Unfortunately, she was forced to leave her job to become the full-time caregiver for one of her grandchildren, who has Down syndrome and requires daily support.
This has placed a significant financial strain on the household, leaving the family struggling to meet their basic needs. We are therefore requesting emergency relief or a voucher to help cover essential expenses during this difficult time.
