Help women admitted to a Mental health inpatient unit start their Recovery
GIVIT
Women who attend this ward are struggling with their mental health and have usually experienced trauma, domestic violence, homelessness and are missing their kids and family environment. One of the activities that is loved by many of them is being able to share recipes, and stories while they are cooking.
We would like to have a Sunday munch and brunch session, where they can assist in cooking a meal and sitting down and sharing together. These vouchers would go towards buying the ingredients. They can then take the skills that they learned on the ward home and cook with their families.
