When I first met my client she had suffered a miscarriage, was homeless and struggling. Within the first week of engaging with her, she had sourced employment and was working to try and find employment, had sucessfully managed to secure a bed in IHR and was doing everything in her power to change her circumstances. She fought tooth and nail, attended every rental viewing, engaged with every service and even had to cut down her hours or risk being homeles again due to service red tape. Still she perservered, attended every viewing, applied for every home being denied time and time again. Until she met her new landlord, who saw the same thing I did, the resilience and strength that this women has, the determination and motivation to live a better life.
