As a not-for-profit organisation, we operate within strict budgetary constraints and must adhere closely to the guidelines established by our funding bodies. A significant proportion of our clients are experiencing domestic violence or are in the process of fleeing unsafe environments, often arriving with no personal belongings or financial resources. These challenges become even more acute during the holiday season, when the financial pressures on parents intensify. Every parent wants their child to experience joy at this time of year, yet many of our clients struggle to meet even their most basic needs. Providing food vouchers allows us to alleviate some of this burden, offering practical support while restoring a sense of dignity and stability to families during an incredibly difficult time.
If feasible, vouchers in $50 increments would be most beneficial, as this denomination offers families the greatest flexibility in purchasing essential items.
