UPDATE 17/11/25 - Our client is an elderly woman who has recently lost her husband. She owns and runs a cane farm significantly impacted by the 2022 floods and also TC Alfred. She has still had little assistance to fix her home from the 2022 inundation and is still living in a temporary pod on her property. As harvesting season has been severely impacted this year, she is struggling financially to cover costs and living expenses since her husband passing.
UPDATE 19JAN 2023: This couple have requested help with accessing an electric recliner chair for the husband, who has terminal cancer. He has been unable to use a bed due to mobility issues, and has been sleeping on the couch which is not suitable for his condition. Assistance with this piece of comfort and equipment would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
