Household of 3 lose a very large amount of possession during the TC Alfred event
2025 Tropical Cyclone Alfred
A large gumtree destroyed the roof of the property resulting in flooding and extensive water damage throughout the property and mould. The building has been declared uninhabitable and the residents have had to move out. Furniture and effects were not able to be salvaged. A large amount of whitegoods, furniture and personal belongings now have to be replaced and at an enormous cost, which they simply cannot afford.
