Prescription Glasses

This lady has lived with hardship all her life. Her story as a young child, she was scalped in a truck accident, no follow up medical care. She talks about how life changed for her, she could not make or keep friends, she lived with domestic violence, she engaged in low pay and low skill work from the age of 15 years. There were no medical assessments of her decline or changes in her abilities. The lady has raised her grandson as he was not wanted by his mother, the grandson has global delay and awaits testing to access NDIS. The lady goes without food, shoes, she has never been to a hairdresser, she has worn the same pair of stretch pants and black T-Shirt since she engaged with Doorways in Feb 2024. The lady needs prescription glasses she cannot see well; she cannot afford items for herself mainly due to demands of her grandson, and his outburst when he does not get what he wants. It would be so nice for this lady, to get spectacles, some clothes, her hair done and shoes.
