This couple are preparing to welcome a new baby into their lives, a moment that should be filled with joy and hope. For both, the path to this point has been anything but easy. Growing up without the safety of a loving family, their lives were shaped by hardship, addiction, and cycles of abuse that left deep scars.
Despite this history, they have worked hard to break free from the past and build something better for themselves and their children. With no extended family to lean on and only limited community support, they have carried the weight of rent, bills, and daily living costs while doing their best to prepare for their baby’s arrival.
They have come a long way in creating a stable and nurturing home, but the final steps feel out of reach on their own. A helping hand now would not only ease their immediate struggles, but it would also affirm their determination to give their child the safe and loving start in life they themselves never had.
