Talented First Nations Teenager needs financial assistance to attend a Basketball Tournament in Brisbane

An 18yo First Nations young person has shown incredible basketball and leadership skills in multiple basketball workshops. He's been chosen to attend the AAU Tournament in Brisbane on the 22nd - 25th Jan 2026. It does come with a cost that is too much for his family, as his Mum is on disability and his Dad is trying to get his small business off the ground. They have also had some very large and unexpected bills to pay in recent times, therefore making it difficult to support their son in his dream. Entry fees and Accommodation are a total of $1000.
