This family is constantly in financial hardship. Mum lives with ADHD, ASD level 2, complex PTSD and anxiety she also is the primary and sole carer of her son who also lives with ASD level 2 meaning he is nonverbal, but mum is working hard alongside therapeutic supports to ensure she is implementing the best supports she can for her son.
Mum is also 12 weeks pregnant and with her poly diagnosis she struggles to stay on top of household and daily tasks. We are currently supporting mum to access the NDIS for herself so that she can have daily supports, but this can be a lengthy process. Mum struggles with her mental health, is unable to work and a big impact of that is not being able to stay on top of household tasks like the dishes and daily cleaning.
