A family of 5 who have never seen floodwater anywhere near their home previously had water in their home from rising creeks and rivers plus extreme rain which pushed the water levels higher. Lost kids beds from excessive mould growing on them after so much moisture in the air. Lost freezer and fridge and items in them from loss of power and water damage, the mess left when waters went down was unbelievable. Lost household items from being inundated by water and mud, clothes were lost and linen due to no power and not being able to dry and wash items.
