These 4 young people are deeply vulnerable, facing multiple barriers and limited opportunities. They come from a background of disadvantage, leaving them at higher risk of poor outcomes.Their early years were marked by unmet basic needs and a lack of stability at home. Chronic neglect and inadequate care have left lasting impacts on their development and wellbeing. They have been exposed to significant family violence and unsafe environments, such as exposure to drugs, from a very young age. Growing up in a household marked by conflict and abuse has caused deep emotional scars.This child carries the weight of complex trauma and profound loss as they were removed from the care of their parents and placed in a Kinship Out of Home Care arrangement. Adverse childhood experiences have created significant emotional and developmental challenges.
